Our Buffalo Kids know that they have a God who made them, who loves them, and who wants a relationship with them. We have 3 clean and safe environments (classrooms) for kids ages 6 weeks to fifth grade:

LIL'S: 6 WEEKS - 2 YR OLDS
MID'S: 2 - 5 YR OLDS
BIG'S: K - 5TH GRADE

Our Kids environments are engaging and fun, even for the youngest members of our “Herd.” Each week we incorporate interactive worship, Bible stories and teachings, small group time, and fun and engaging crafts, activities and games that your kiddos are sure to love!

  • Why do we give?
Giving is one of the key ways we worship God. Throughout Scripture, we see that God gave. As we seek to become more like Christ, we will grow in our giving. The storehouse spoken of in Malachi 3:10 is what we consider the local church. By partnering our monies together, God’s work is done more effectively. By combining our resources towards a focused vision that God has given, we are able to make a larger impact in the community of Helena and the families we serve. When you give to Buffalo Church, you’re giving to advance the Gospel, serve the community, raise up leaders and develop the next generation.
  • What is a tithe and offering?
"A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord." - Leviticus 27:30 (NIV) We are stewards, not owners, of what God has entrusted to us. Therefore, tithing is bringing back what is God’s to God, and He entrusts us with the remainder to use appropriately. A Tithe is a mathematical term and literally means 10%. "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." - Malachi 3:10(NIV) Jesus said that we ought to bring the tithe. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former." - Matthew 23:23 (NIV) Any amount above 10% is considered an offering to God. This type of giving is over and above the tithe and should be done with cheerfulness.

Prayer

We pray first - this is one of our core values. Prayer is powerful and aligns us with God’s will, which is why we host prayer nights twice a month. This is a time where you can receive prayer, learn more about prayer, and join in unity to pray over our community.

Join us on the first & third Thursdays of every month at 6:30 PM at The Chapel, 200 E Broadway.

Prayer requests?

We would love to pray for you. Send us your prayer request and our pastors and prayer team will be lifting you up in prayer.

Small Groups

Looking for community?

We are not meant to walk alone as Christians. God calls us into community and discipleship—even Jesus surrounded himself with 12 good friends. At Buffalo, we believe in building community both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Our small groups are great opportunities to grow deeper friendships with fellow believers, ask the tough questions, and learn more about what it means to follow Christ together.

New believer?

If you are a new believer, we encourage you to check out our Foundations Class or Experiencing God Class.

Interested in becoming a small group leader?

Small group leaders play an essential part in the growth of our church, so we do our best to equip each leader with prayer, on-going training, coaching & resources to help build community within our Buffalo Groups.

Students

Have Fun. Build Friendships. Find Purpose.

Note: Our Student ministry is returning January 15!

Our Buffalo Student Ministry exists to love students where they are, lead them to understanding who Jesus is and the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives, and launch them into the mission field of their schools - loving others like Jesus.

We do this by creating a safe place where students 6th - 12th grade can build authentic relationships with each other and adult leaders that will encourage them to connect with Jesus, so that they are equipped to go out and be a light in their world.

WEDNESDAYS | 6:30-8:00PM | THE CHAPEL, 200 E BROADWAY
